Born on October 9, 1988 in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Amanda Serrano is a boxer and professional mixed martial artist. She holds the unified featherweight world championship title as well as three other world titles: WBO (from 2019), WBC (February 2021) and IBO (March 2021). In total, Serrano has earned over $7 million dollars throughout her career so far.

She has battled some of boxing’s greatest names and earned herself a place among its all-time greats with 41 wins and 30 knockouts. Additionally, she is the only woman and first Puerto Rican to hold world titles across five different weight divisions: bantamweight, super bantamweight, lightweight, featherweight and super featherweight.

At present, she fights at Madison Square Garden in New York City and is renowned for her intense and powerful style of boxing, which has earned her a large amount of money.

Her primary source of income comes from her career as a boxer, where she has earned an average of $1,500 per fight while defending her titles.

When she’s not fighting, she enjoys shopping and eating. Additionally, she loves traveling to new places where she can meet fans.

She is a proud member of the Puerto Rican diaspora in Brooklyn, New York and she and her family reside in Bushwick neighborhood. Growing up with their mother and sister Cindy – also an accomplished boxer – in their small Bushwick apartment has given them an edge professionally in boxing.

Cindy and Megan Aretha were the first sisters to hold world titles from major sanctioning bodies simultaneously, following Cindy’s win of her WBO featherweight title in 2016. Additionally, they were the first sisters ever to fight at Madison Square Garden as women’s boxers and headlined the venue as champions.

At 17, Serrano began training her sister as a way to earn extra income and build a stronger connection with her family. Though initially hesitant, her parents’ support and positive results soon followed.

In 2016, she won the WBO Featherweight Championship and was a finalist for the Female Boxer of the Year Award. Additionally, she had previously won Staten Island amateur championships in 2008 and 2009.

In addition to her career as a boxer, she has also dabbled in mixed martial arts and wrestling. Estimates place her earnings from these sports at approximately $3.5 million.

She is now a partner in Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, an entertainment company that promotes boxing and mixed martial arts events. Additionally, she owns and operates a gym in Brooklyn with her partner Jake Paul.

Her net worth is estimated to range between $1- $5 million, according to sources. She has been in the boxing industry for some time and is now one of the highest paid women.

Amanda Serrano developed an affinity for swimming when she was young. As a competitive swimmer, she eventually earned a state title at 16 years old.

After graduating from school, she stayed in her hometown and pursued a teaching career. Today, she is happily married to the man she met online – they have two children.
