Jacqueline Bisset

Jacqueline Bisset is a British actress who first came to fame in 1968. Her first movie roles were in Bullitt, The Detective and The Sweet Ride. In 1969, she was nominated for a Golden Globe award as the most promising newcomer. She has since gone on to be a prominent figure in the world of film, receiving many awards and nominations.

Her breakthrough role came in the 1968 film “Bullitt.” She co-starred with Steve McQueen and was nominated for Best Actress in the movie. Bisset was in the role of a tough San Francisco detective who had a penchant for hard driving. Bisset received critical acclaim for her role in this spoof of James Bond.

Bisset’s film and television career has been varied. She appeared in a number of films, and was Golden Globe and CableACE Award-nominated for “Under the Volcano” in the 1980s.
