Jj Russell Nfl Draft

After a breakout season in college, JJ Russell is an intriguing candidate for the NFL draft. He played linebacker for the Memphis Tigers and was a first-team all-conference selection. His 10.2 tackles per game ranked ninth in the country. While not a high draft pick, he’s still a very good player.

After a disappointing freshman season, JJ Russell went on to make a big splash in his senior season by playing in all 13 games. In those limited opportunities, JJ Russell recorded nine tackles, a QB hurry, and a blocked kick. The following year, he stepped into a starting role for the Memphis Tigers. Over the next four years, he played in 50 games, making 50 starts. He finished his career with 123 tackles (78 solo), one sack, and an interception.
