Steve Schirripa Fat Suit

If you’re interested in buying some memorabilia from “The Sopranos,” then you’re in luck! Steiner Auctions is now selling a wide variety of items from the hit HBO series, including autographed scripts, cast varsity jackets, and posters. And speaking of memorabilia, a fat suit is one item on the auction block. Schirripa wore a fat suit while playing mobster Bobby “Bacala” Baccalieri in the series. But he wasn’t fat enough to fit Tony Soprano, as the actor would constantly joke.

Although “The Sopranos” has aired for more than a decade, it is still a popular show, drawing new fans year after year. It was one of the shows that turned Schirripa into a bankable TV star. He currently stars on the hit show Blue Bloods and will also appear in the upcoming Woody Allen film Wonder Wheel.

After starting his acting career with minor roles in the late 90s, Schirripa landed a starring role in “The Sopranos” as Bobby Baccalieri. This role required him to wear a fat suit throughout the first two seasons of the series. He continued to appear in the show until the seventh season.
