Wilkes University Sidhu School Of Business

The Sidhu School of Business & Leadership combines core business education with the skills required for authentic leadership. It offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. It was founded in 2004 by Jay S. Sidhu, who graduated from Wilkes in 1973. He is now chairman and CEO of Customers Bank.

The school’s program aims to prepare future business leaders with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s global marketplace. This is accomplished through a blend of theory and practice, small class sizes and personalized mentoring. The result is a well-rounded and rewarding career.

The Sidhu School of Business & Leadership offers outstanding graduate and undergraduate business programs. The school is currently seeking AACSB accreditation. It offers concentrations in business analytics, finance, marketing, and international business. Additionally, it offers graduate and undergraduate engineering programs. It is located in the College of Business and Engineering.

The school offers many opportunities for hands-on experience. For example, students can work for the local tax office through VITA, a nonprofit that provides free tax filing assistance to low-income and elderly residents. Students are also active in student government and Athletics. Students are also actively involved in the Programming Board and Student Government.

The Sidhu School of Business and Leadership focuses on business skills development. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, a global organization that accredits business programs. It has eight different programs that offer a strong foundation for future professionals. The school also offers specialized courses that are relevant to specific fields.

The school’s Cardell Financial Center gives students the opportunity to connect to the finance industry through real-time data. It is equipped with 12 Bloomberg trading terminals and four personal computers. It also provides students with free access to Barron’s, a financial portal highly valued by professionals across industries.

The Wilkes Investment Club is made up of students from all majors. Members of the club manage a portfolio, which is funded by alumni contributions. The returns from these investments are used to support student educational expenses. Students can also join the Phi Beta Lambda organization, which is one of the largest collegiate business student organizations. The chapter focuses on leadership, teamwork, and business competence.
