Thanksgiving Jeopardy

To teach your students about Thanksgiving, you can use a Thanksgiving Jeopardy board game. The format is very familiar to many kids. Students compete to win prizes for the correct answers. You can create your own game or choose a pre-made Thanksgiving jeopardy template. No matter what format you choose, be sure to include your Thanksgiving history as well as food safety information. It was Benjamin Franklin’s desire to make the turkey the national bird, but Thomas Jefferson fought Franklin’s efforts. In America, Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday of November. In Canada, the game is called “Hail to Thanksgiving”.
