Veronica is charming and sophisticated, despite her unapologetic feminist streak. She loves literature, and references it whenever possible. Veronica, despite her sexy nature is an inspiring role model.

Riverdale was the birthplace of Veronica Lodge. She was the second child of a wealthy couple and the youngest of Hiram Lodge’s children. As a child, she was a party-goer and bully. Nick St. Clair was one of her closest friends. But after her father was accused of fraud and embezzlement, Veronica’s life took a dramatic turn. Her family lost their fortune and became the target of malicious gossip.

Veronica returned to Riverdale seven years later and was married to controlling stockbroker Chad Gekko. Her marriage to the man she loves failed and she tried to escape, only to be blackmailed into bailing him out of a Ponzi scheme. She subsequently started her own jewelry store, Pearls and Posh, and sought help from Reggie to run her business. They eventually got back together and began their romance.

Veronica and Kevin are the best of friends. They met when Betty showed Veronica around school on their first day of sophomore year. Kevin and Veronica became genuine best friends and shared a disdain for prejudice and bullying. Veronica became a mother for Archie while Veronica was at Barnard College. A few years later, Veronica and Archie split up.
