The outdoor neighborhood pools will remain open in Dearborn through September 3, 2021. The Ford Woods Pool will be open one night per week this summer. It will also be open on alternate weekends through August. The pools will also offer swim lessons. To help keep the community healthy, the city will be donating funds to build and maintain the pools. The Ford Woods Pool is scheduled to open this week, with hours of operation starting at 1 p.m. on Monday through Friday and noon to eight p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The pool complex will also include an indoor area with individual changing rooms, showers, vending machines, and outdoor concessions. There will be enough space for food trucks in the concessions area. In the next few months, a new swimming pool complex will be opened. So far, summer 2017 looks promising.
