Azealia Banks Accused of Battery Against Russell Crowe, But the Charge Has Been Thrown Out

Azealia Banks has been in the news lately for allegedly assaulting Russell Crowe, but the allegations are being thrown out. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has rejected the battery case against the hip-hop superstar. According to Banks, Crowe spit on her and tried to forcibly remove her from a party in Beverly Hills. Banks claims she was merely attempting to avoid a potentially more serious situation. A witness, however, claims that the spit did not actually hit Banks.

Banks has been involved in several controversial incidents in the past, including a racist tweet about a flight attendant in 2015. The incident led to a ban of Banks’ Twitter account. Banks has also used the homophobic slur “faggot” throughout her career.

Banks was born May 31, 1991 and raised in the Harlem neighborhood of New York. She released her debut single “212” in 2012 and went on to release her critically acclaimed debut album “Broke With Expensive Taste” a few months later. The rapper has performed at numerous festivals and sold-out concerts around the world. Recently, Banks has finished filming her first major motion picture role. She is currently on tour throughout Europe.

Despite her success, Banks has had several feuds with high-profile artists. Her comments about Cardi’s recent scandal have hurt feelings and even resulted in her being threatened with a lawsuit. As a result, Banks’s penchant for conflict has outshined her bars. Her feuds with fellow artists have often involved lengthy back-and-forth beefs and one-sided rants.
