Authorities are investigating a school shooting in California that killed three teenagers and injured a fourth. The attacker has not been identified and Clovis police chief refused to reveal details about his motives or the extent of his injuries. Police are not sure how the attacker chose his victims. The attack took place in a library. Witnesses say the shooting began in a chaotic scene as the gunman entered the library and started firing. While the gunman did not exchange fire with police, he did surrender when confronted by authorities.

According to police, they are working with the Clovis Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal to determine the cause of the shooting. In the meantime, the next of kin will be notified.
