Bound 2 Seth Rogen

Seth Rogen and James Franco rode on a motorcycle in “Bound 3,” a remake of Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video. In the film, Franco lip-synced the song’s lyrics and imitated West’s swagger and movements. Franco was nudged by the pair as they rode through fast-moving clouds. The scene was a hilarious moment, and it sparked a fan-boy trend.

James Franco and Seth Rogen are currently filming The Interview, but it’s a good time to celebrate the song’s 20th anniversary. The two actors recreated the “Bound 2” video, complete with a motorcycle and Kim Kardashian riding a motorcycle. This was one of my favorite videos from 2013! Enjoy the hilarious video below. Here’s the original inspiration for the remake.

The “Bound 2” music video has become a cultural touchstone. The video features a topless Kim Kardashian and a vibrating motorbike. James Franco and Seth Rogen recreated the video, mimicking West’s trademark pout and angry finger pointing. Clearly, Rogen and Franco reacted to this pop culture phenomenon. It’s funny to see their characters imitate the song, and the music video is a fantastic tribute to Kanye West’s success.

The success of the movie was due in large part to the fact that Seth Rogen & James Franco recreated a song from Kanye’s “Bound”. The two men also managed to parody Kanye West’s “Bound” video, in which they spit on Seth Rogen and then caressed his back. But the film didn’t make James Franco and Seth Rogen’s chemistry on the set were even more entertaining.

James Franco and Seth Rogen have a lovemaking parody that rivals the original. The pair imitate Kimyes seductive stretch over the handlebars while Franco nuzzles him. The two even ride in a full-on motorbike snuggle. Franco and Seth Rogen laugh at each other but their lovemaking skills are on par with Kim and Franco.

The Bound 2 video is an over-the-top kitsch piece of entertainment. While it was hysterical in its own right, the message in the video was largely redundant. It’s the equivalent of someone explaining the punch line for 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Watch the trailer to see if you are skeptical. You’ll be glad you did.
