Ellie Hamm is a Freshman at Cal Polytechnic State University

Ellie Hamm had been on the California volleyball recruiting radar for quite some time. She was a 6-foot-4 middle blocker who had drawn the interest of other schools. The daughter of three Cal water polo players, her father was a former All-American and three aunts and an uncle played at the school. While her decision to attend Cal won’t be official until National Signing Day in November, she was on track to have a stellar season for her club team. Unfortunately, a coronavirus pandemic wiped out almost all of the tournaments and conferences in California.

The talented young woman currently lives in Dallas, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University and focuses her time on art and fashion. Ellie creates bright and abstract pieces based on her travels and museum visits. She enjoys experimenting and has a great sense of fun. Her work is an exciting and eye-catching way to show her personality. The upcoming exhibition at the University of California, Berkeley, will feature her colorful artwork.
