Samantha Bee is married to Jason Jones, a Canadian actor. They have three children. The two met in a theater troupe in 1996. They were married on October 3, 2001. Samantha Bee and Jason Jones have 3 children together: Piper Bee-Jones was born in 2006, Fletcher Bee-Jones was born in 2008, and Ripley Bee-Jones was born in 2010.

Before joining the Daily Show, he was a regular on several television series. His first starring role was in the 2004 movie, Ham & Cheese, which was co-written by Jason Jones. He won six Canadian Comedy Awards for his “Pretty Funny Female Performance” role in the film. Jason Jones has also played minor roles in various feature films. He was a guest actor in Syfy’s original comedy Public Domain, and The Bobroom.

Sammi Bee has also been involved with various television projects. Full Frontal, a comedy series that debuted on February 8, 2016, is her executive producer. Bee has also been a host of Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and the “Nasty Woman Shirt” campaign raised $1 million for Planned Parenthood. Sammi Bee is also executive producer of TBS’ comedy series The Detour. It stars Jason Jones and Samantha Bee. Samantha Bee’s show was renewed for a second season in November 2016 and has a contract with Turner until 2022.
