Harmon Rabb
Harmon Rabb is a fictional character on the American television show JAG. He was created by Donald P. Bellisario for Paramount Television. He made his first appearance in the pilot episode of the series, which aired on NBC on September 23, 1995. He was a highly regarded character on the show, and fans are still very enthusiastic about him.
David James Elliott portrayed Harmon Rabb Jr. for over ten years. He went through four different auditions before finally landing the role of the character. The director, Don Bellisario, was looking for a certain kind of humor, and David James Elliot nailed it. The actor was not only able to deliver the requisite sense of humor, but also possessed the necessary physical attributes to play Harm.
After his father was declared MIA in Vietnam, Harmon Rabb, Jr. continued to pursue his dream of being a pilot. In the years that followed, he was one of the best pilots in the Navy. However, when his father was declared MIA, his ambition was to become an aviator like his father.
Harm Rabb went to Laos in search of his father. He was obsessed with finding out what happened to his father. At the age of sixteen, he ran away from home and went to Laos to search for him. While he was there, he met his half-brother Sergei Zhukov. Later, Sergei was shot down by the rebels of Chechnya.
David James Elliott will be playing Harm Rabb again on NCIS: LA. He was also a character on the hit show JAG. The show was spun off into both NCIS: New Orleans. The actor will reunite with showrunner R. Scott Gemmill on the series.
Catherine Bell has portrayed Lieutenant Diane Schonke on JAG. She was a longtime friend of Harm and a former flame. However, she was murdered by an unknown stalker. Although she is only on the show for five minutes in season one, the murder haunted Harm until the third season.
While serving in the Navy, Harm was a pilot in an F-14 Tomcat fighter. His accident caused night blindness, but he recovered and returned to the navy. After law school, he was transferred to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He also trained with the Marine Force Recon and Navy SEALs. He also learned how to perform a Halo jump. Harm received several awards for his services, including the prestigious Navy Cross.
