Hunger Games Beard Man
Wes Bentley, best known for his role as the oddball kid next door in 1999’s American Beauty, sported a unique beard for the movie The Hunger Games. The facial hair is a reflection of the dystopian society in which the movie takes place. He said he wanted to portray a high-fashion character, and a futuristic beard seemed to fit the stylized setting. Although his facial hair was a unique choice for the film, author Suzanne Collins praised his choice.
The beard on the movie Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley) is topsy-turvy, with wild angles and waves. Fortunately, he’s not the only actor with a wild beard in the movie. He’s also the youngest game maker, so his beard is definitely one to look out for.
As the Head Gamemaker for the 74th Hunger Games, Seneca Crane played a key role in the movie. His role in designing and ordering the obstacles in the arena was crucial in determining which contestants would live or die. Ultimately, Katniss and Peeta emerged victorious. But President Snow, whose life he had spared during the events of the Hunger Games, was not pleased.
