Born in Yuma, Arizona, and died in Greensburg, Louisiana, USA, Hunter was an actor and producer who was renowned for starring in several films. Hunter Michael McGregor was killed in a single-vehicle accident in St. Helena Parish on October 6, 2009. The victim, a 19-year-old Franklinton resident, was wearing his seatbelt at the time and was declared dead at the scene. McGregor was traveling westbound on LA 38 when he overcorrected, spun, and ended up in the eastbound lane. The resulting collision caused his car to roll over, hit a large tree, and hit a fence.
