It is hard to believe, but Hunter Schafer’s life story is actually not so far off from the one of many young women around the world. She is a former child actor who rose to fame with the role of “Suzy,” who starred in Sam Levinson’s movie “Euphoria.” The actress is also in a relationship with musician-turned-actor Dominic Fike, but would not name the band or artist. She is currently filming her first feature film, Cuckoo for Neon, and is reportedly dating musician-turned-actor Dominic Fike.

Hunter Schafer was born as a boy, and was noted on his birth certificate. However, his parents soon realized that her tastes had evolved and she preferred to dress like female superheroes and wear pink dresses. During her childhood, her parents were very confused by this change, as they thought she was different than the other girls. Thankfully, though, they did not give up on the dream, and Hunter’s mother, a minister, grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In addition to changing her appearance, Hunter Schafer is also a transgender activist. She was 16 years old when she joined the University of North Carolina School of Arts. Later, she was a semi-finalist for the U.S. Presidential Scholar Program in visual arts. She has fulfilled many of her dreams and has shown her talent throughout her career.
