A young man who made his name on TikTok has been sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of a college student. The victim was 23-year-old Jackson Hugh Smith. He was found dead on August 23rd, 2015. His suspected killer was James S. Garcia, but his motive was never established. Eventually the case closed eight months and three days later, after his face was recognized by Lisa Laning, a local resident.
