US Vice President Kamala Harris surprised Howard University students Saturday by leading the coin toss before the opening kickoff of the Truth and Service Classic football game. The game pits two historically black colleges and universities against their rival, Hampton University. Harris, a graduate of Howard University, led the coin toss for her alma mater. She was also accompanied by the Howard University marching band in the inaugural parade.
