The program is specifically for female-founded small businesses in U.S. cities and is available for businesses that focus on health, wellness, and wellness. The award is contingent on the business’s gross annual revenues not exceeding $7 million by 2021. It will not fund businesses that have failed to reach this goal.
This program is also open to women of color. Its funding comes from the SoGal Foundation and other sponsors. It is designed to support entrepreneurs who are black and female and are seeking investment financing for their businesses. The application deadline for the program is June 30, 2021. It is important to note that women who are pursuing this program should have a background in business, and be at least 18 years of age to apply.
