Weekend At Bernie’s Car
“The Weekend at Bernie’s Car” a dark comedy that takes place on a boardwalk. Three men, all friends, spend the weekend at the same place, trying to escape their sins. But their trip does not end well. The men get into a lot trouble, including murder and mayhem. The men have a lot fun. If you’re looking for an odd movie to watch, this is it.
They are shocked to find Bernie’s body. The two men watch as people have entire conversations with Bernie without realizing that he’s dead. But as the ruse continues, the cops start to notice. Eventually, Larry and Richard start to parade Bernie’s corpse around as flies collect on it. Later, they allow his girlfriend to commit necrophilia on the dead body. But it is only the last minute of the weekend that will get them caught!
The film starts with the discovery of a massive discrepancy in the company’s books. Richard and Larry go to the new boss, Bernie, and offer to do some overtime for him. Bernie also agrees to let Larry and Richard work weekends and overtime, which is more than enough. After a year, Bernie invites them to his beach home for Labor Day weekend. The rest is history. The movie is an unexpected success.
The film is funny and wacky but also contains some horror. The film’s premise seems similar to Seinfield’s “dead guy” gag, but Weekend at Bernie’s takes this premise too seriously. As a result, we never get to question whether the characters are actually dead. This makes the film both gruesomely entertaining and disturbing. Even if it doesn’t have the best script, Weekend at Bernie’s is a fun movie to watch with friends.
The movie makes viewers feel like a child again. And it’s not only the children that are dead. The film’s premise centers on a yuppie who dreams of becoming a millionaire. He tries to avoid being a poor yuppie. Nevertheless, Weekend at Bernie’s is a film that should be seen by everyone, and not just for kids.
One of the best parts of the film is the scene in which Bernie drives through a cage of parrots. This was filmed with real and fake parrots. The fake parrot was attached to Berine’s shoulders. The boys hook Bernie up to a wagon, and then take him down a hill. The car then goes out of control and he flails in front of the goats.
