Jimmy Butler is a motivating force on the Heat. He picked off Jayson Tatum’s passes in Game 1 and made a 3-pointer and dunk in Game 2. It’s clear that Spoelstra has trusted Butler and gave him latitude to play well.

Herro, an average shooting guard, showed signs of being able to play. He missed the last three games due to health concerns, but he made significant progress. He passed the benchmarks for playing before the injury, and he has improved his efficiency in the last two years.
