Kevin Youkilis is a retired baseball player who played first and third base for the Boston Red Sox, winning two World Series championships during his time there. Kevin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 15th 1979. At Sycamore High School he earned All-American baseball status while leading his team to victory in state tournament play. Drafted by Boston Red Sox after attending university baseball at University of Cincinnati. Later went on to play for other teams such as Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees.

Youkilis has amassed numerous honors during his career. He was named an All-Star three times, won two Gold Gloves, and received the Hank Aaron Award. Additionally, Youkilis won World Series championships with Boston in 2004 and 2007. Additionally, in 2008 he led both home runs and batting average to earn himself finalist status for AL MVP award consideration.

Personal Life. In his personal life, Youkilis is currently married to Julie Brady – sister of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Together they share one child, having been together since 2012. Prior to this marriage he had one prior with Enza Sambataro from which they have both sons and a daughter together.

Family life for Youkilis currently centers on Los Gatos, California where his 12,000 square foot estate includes a gym, movie theater and wine cellar he sold for $3.6 million in 2018. Furthermore, Youkilis has ventured into various other business endeavors including running a brewery and diving company.

Youkilis is the eldest of five siblings and has one half-sister from his father’s second marriage. He is Jewish and celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at a Conservative synagogue; additionally he holds scuba certification to dive to 1,000 feet depths in the Pacific Ocean. In 2007, Youkilis established his charitable foundation, Hits for Kids, raising money for children’s organizations. When not at work or playing golf or surfing, Youkilis enjoys surfing and golfing as hobbies; additionally he follows both Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos football teams closely. He serves on the board of directors of the Greater Boston YMCA and is a trustee at his childhood church, St. James the Apostle in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
